Inisiatif Kepemimpinan Pendidikan untuk Raih Prestasi (INSPIRASI) is a foundation founded by Global School Leaders (GSL) that bridges philanthropists, education practitioners, academics, and policy makers to create innovation in school leadership in Indonesia. The foundation serves as a research engine that implements pilot programs and collects evidence on aspects that can effectively help school leaders (PS) ensure better learning in their schools.
In collaboration with The SMERU Research Institute, INSPIRASI conducted a baseline study of the first batch of one of its pilot programs in 25 schools in Kabupaten 1 Karawang, West Java since July 2019. This program is a continuous professional development program for 1.5 years for school leaders in positions delivered through in-class workshops and individual mentoring sessions in schools. This program generally consists of three phases, each lasting six months, preceded by a full day of conditioning sessions.
