Khaerul Umur is a Bachelor of Education for Primary School from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. His career is not limited to basic education. Umur has worked in the government sector, corporate and nonprofit organizations. His experience in his career makes him understand better the learning process not only for children, but also for adults, formal and non-formal education.

Since graduating from college in 2010, Umur has been directly involved in Community Learning and Development area. Starting from being an educational facilitator in remote areas, running a teacher development project, designing vocational programs for deaf people in Jakarta and Balikpapan, to managing an online driver community at one of the largest startups in Indonesia. Umur has expertise in developing and executing training, building partnerships with government and local communities, project management, leading a large team, and running a monitoring and evaluation program.
